Students will also learn test terminology, methodology, and different test approaches (Agile, Waterfall, and V-model) through real-life projects.

Topics covered include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing business requirements
  • Creating QA strategy test plans and test cases
  • Performing test execution for web financial online banking applications
  • Reporting defects
  • Learning VB-scripting and Java for creating automated scripts in HP QTP (UFT) and Selenium WebDriver
  • Working closely with Microsoft SQL Production Server for Back-End Testing

This course will be taught through live online video conferences, ensuring interactive engagement between course leads and students. No pre-recorded sessions will be provided.

Online classes:

  • Saturday/Sunday batch: 39 hours, 13 sessions, each session – 3 hours
  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday batch: 39 hours, 20 sessions, each session – 2 hours (1h 57min)
  • Tuesday/Thursday batch: 39 hours, 13 sessions, each session – 3 hours

Topics covered in the course include terminology, SDLC, Agile, V-Model, Waterfall approach, HP QC/ALM tool for Manual Testing, and more. Students will work on projects involving testing of Purchase Order Web Financial and CRM applications using both Agile and Waterfall models.

Automated Testing Tools covered include HP QTP/UFT and Selenium, with emphasis on creating automated scripts and data-driven tests. Additionally, students will learn SQL and work with Microsoft SQL Production Server to perform Back-End Testing.
